National Biodiversity Congress (NBC) is one of the important biodiversity mega events of India conducted as a biennial event. The third NBC 2017 to be held in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India from 22nd to 26th February 2017. The congress includes an array of programmes including Conference, Exhibition, Capacity building workshops and Children’s Biodiversity Congress.
The focal theme of NBC 2017 is “Mainstreaming Biodiversity for Sustainable Development”. Presentations and discussions will focus on a variety of key issues related with Biodiversity conservation, sustainable utilization and benefit sharing.
